The timetable of sergeant...

The timetable of sergeant of Greek Expedition in Asia Minor: From Big Greece in small: 1920 – 1923. The case of Nikolaos Tsamados.
By Andreas Fouskarinis

Nikolaos Tsamados served as volunteer in combative units of Greek Army from the beginning almost of Expedition until her end. Young then Nikolaos Tsamados describes persons and makes, or these is political, or militarily, or has direct relation with the daily life of soldiers and residents of these regions, Greeks or Turks. The timetable of Nikolaos Tsamados is one walking in Macedonia, the Thrace and the Asia Minor in the years of martial conflicts of Greeks and Turks for territories that claimed and the two. Daily it records courses in hostile or friendly environments, battles, descriptions of cities, insignificant and important incidents from the life of soldiers and residents, Greeks and Turks. The crises for the leaders of troop and country are, as we saw, in the daily provision. Also and the ethnological observations, that he makes unconscionably, because he is not expert. Deductively, the timetable of Nikolaos Tsamados constitutes an important historical source, therefore, particularly useful in our days, where become once again efforts for the approaching of two populations, Greeks and Turks, and the complete standardisation of their relations in the frames of European Union. It constitutes an important source of information on a very important moment of History of two populations that affects still in the political and other developments, while simultaneously it informs us for a lot of events of everyday routine and culture of populations of Asia Minor and also of the army.
